Select the appropriate polysaccharide source material and chop or grind it to the appropriate particle size as needed. For plant-based polysaccharides, pre-treatment steps like removing impurities and coarse separation can be carried out first. Subsequently, a suitable extraction solution is selected according to the characteristics of the sample.
Appropriate amounts of adjuvants such as acidifiers or enzymes are added to the extraction solution to facilitate the extraction. The extract is centrifuged, filtered, or precipitated to separate the extract from the residue. The final product is then obtained after concentration, purification, and drying.
