Importance of Research on Polysaccharides
The research of polysaccharides is essential for understanding biological processes, promoting the development of medicine, improving human health, and contributing to sustainable development. As key molecules in living organisms, polysaccharides are involved in cell structure and function and play an important role in life activities. Through in-depth study of the structure, function, and bioactivity of polysaccharides, the field of drug development can be expanded to develop new therapeutic approaches and medicines; meanwhile, the functionality of polysaccharides has been widely used in food and nutraceuticals, bringing health and nutritional benefits. In addition, the biocompatibility and sustainable sources of polysaccharides provide opportunities for the development of new materials that promote environmental protection and resource utilization. In conclusion, the importance of polysaccharide research lies in advancing science, promoting medicine, and improving the quality of human life, while also helping to advance the goals of sustainable development.

Raw Material Treatment Service at CD BioGlyco
CD BioGlyco is a leader in the field of Carbohydrate Manufacturing and we aim to provide our clients with high-quality, cost-effective, and hassle-free Monosaccharide, Oligosaccharide, and Polysaccharide manufacturing services. Our company is capable of producing 1 million tons of corn Starch and 100,000 tons of modified starch annually. We also provide customized polysaccharide raw material treatment services to our clients. The process of our service is as follows:
- The raw materials are sufficiently cleaned by washing or stirring and soaking, etc., to remove the dust, mud, and other impurities on the surface and reduce the content of impurities in the subsequent steps.
- The raw material is chopped to increase its surface area. The chopped raw material is further ground or pulverized using equipment such as a grinder and high-pressure crushers to make the particles finer.
- The raw materials are subjected to operations such as degreasing, removing pigment, or removing odor. Lipids are removed by methods such as solvent extraction or high-temperature treatment, and physical or chemical washing is used to remove pigments from the raw material.
- Filtering and clarification of pre-treated raw materials using equipment such as filter paper, screens, or centrifuges to remove solid particles and suspended matter from them.

Applications
- Polysaccharides are used in the preparation of products such as creams, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, and masks due to their moisturizing, softening, antioxidant, and fiber-strengthening properties.
- In the pulp industry, it is used as a paper reinforcement and wet strength agent to improve the physical properties and durability of paper.
- Polysaccharides can be used for modification and functionalization of cellulosic fibers to improve textile properties and quality.
Advantages of Us
- We use advanced technologies and methods to test, filter, and treat raw materials to prevent impurities, contaminants, or other undesirable ingredients in the raw materials from affecting the final products.
- By communicating with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, we develop bespoke solutions and customize our products and services to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.
- Our multidisciplinary teams bring together expertise and skills in their respective fields to solve complex problems and work on multidisciplinary projects.
