Composition of Reishi Mushroom Beta-Glucan

Beta-glucan is composed of three monosaccharide chains and is a spiral stereo configuration. Its stereo configuration and DNA, and RNA are similar, the helical layer is mainly fixed by hydrogen bonds, with molecular weight from hundreds to hundreds of thousands. Except for a small number of small-molecule polysaccharides, most of beta-glucan is insoluble in high-concentration alcohol but dissolved in hot water. Beta-glucan is mostly present in the inner wall of mushroom cells. In the way of connection, β-1,3 glycosidic bonds are linked to the main chain, glycosidic bonds are linked to glucose pyranoses residues and beta-glucan have side chains at the 0-6 carbon atoms of the main chain. Due to some activity because of its unique configuration and ligation mode, reishi mushroom β-glucan improves the body's Immunity and anti-hypoxia, eliminates free radicals, resists radiation, and improves the liver, bone marrow, blood DNA, RNA, and protein capabilities.
