Beta-Glucan Vaccine Adjuvant Development

Inquiry

Beta-Glucan as Vaccine Adjuvants

An adjuvant is a substance added to the vaccine to enhance the immunogenicity of the antigen, thereby inducing a stronger immune response. Reducing vaccine dose and production costs in populations where the adjuvant has been poorly responsive to vaccination. Natural polysaccharides have better immune-promoting effects and enhance humoral, cellular, and mucosal immune-promoting effects. Dextran vaccine adjuvants enhance immunity through immune enhancement and its effects including vaccine adjuvant potential, metabolic parameters including blood glucose and lipid levels, increasing the cytotoxicity of peripheral blood cells against cancer, and attenuating chemotherapeutic side effects. This suggests it is a potential strategy for β-glucan which has many beneficial properties due to its high biocompatibility, tolerability, and satisfactory safety profile, making it a promising adjuvant drug candidate.

Beta-Glucan Vaccine Adjuvant Development Services at CD BioGlyco

CD BioGlyco has focused on developing polysaccharide vaccine adjuvants for many years. The adjuvants have inherent immuno-modulatory, biocompatibility, biodegradability, low toxicity, and safety. According to the different needs and applications of customers, we provide services including the following:

  • Production of β-glucan vaccine adjuvants

Polysaccharides are used to produce polysaccharide vaccines due to their high immunogenicity properties, which are mainly prepared by purifying specific polysaccharides. Most vaccines are of plant origin, in the form of purified extracts that are two of the most potent immune adjuvants, or immunomodulators when administered orally.

  • Production of β-glucan conjugate vaccine adjuvants

We use a variety of chemical methods to covalently bind polysaccharides to protein carriers to prepare polysaccharide-conjugated vaccines that produce long-lasting immune memory. Combined with nanoparticles, they act efficiently against pathogens.

  • Quality control of β-glucan vaccine

We use volumetric exclusion chromatography (SEC), high-performance anion-exchange chromatography coupled with pulsed amperometric detection (HPAEC-PAD) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) methods. These are used to test the quality of vaccines. Feel free to use our products, the vaccine production and development steps strictly comply with quality control to provide you with the best service.

Applications

  • β-Glucan vaccine can be used for monoclonal antibody and immune checkpoint-based cancer-targeted screening.
  • β-Glucan vaccine is suited for the preparation of nano vaccines and nanodrugs.
  • β-Glucan vaccine can be added to immunization adjuvants for rabies vaccine.

Advantages

  • A novel and efficient method for the preparation of β-glucan adjuvant
  • Full characterization
  • High-quality and high-purity products

CD BioGlyco has an advanced platform for glycovaccine development and offers customized solutions for beta-glucan adjuvant development.
